ABOUT THE JOB
RB Royal, a family owned and operated manufacturing business located in Fond du lac, is looking to hire a TIG Welder!
Hours1st Shift: Monday thru Thursday 5:00am-3:00pm2nd Shift: Monday thru Thursday 3:00pm-1:00am
Core ResponsibilitiesSelects equipment and plans layout for welding and assembly of shop orders.Lays out, positions, aligns and fits components together to drawing/print specifications.Secures and welds parts with attention o warpage and metal fatigue.Inspects and ensures final part is to assembly drawing or engineering specifications.Straighten parts as needed using heat, press, clamps or other methods.Assembles parts per assembly drawings and/or engineering instructions.Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and rewelding per instructions or blueprint drawings.Trains operators on robotic weld processes and loading parts as needed.Provides support for job estimates and prototype developments.
Skills Critical for SuccessAssociates degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school.At least one year of TIG welding experience.Prior experience working with stainless steel.Must be able to use different jointing process that are called out on production prints which include: tig, mig, or laser welding and induction brazing.Ability read and interpret blueprints, drawing and layouts.Must be able to work with little to no supervision and be reliable and dependable.Team communication skills are essential.
