Senior (or E2) Electrical Engineer
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Please see the below requirements for a Senior (or E2) Electrical Engineer to join a growing Medical Device OEM in the Twin Cities Southwest Metro. This organization produces Class II capital equipment (robotics) used in surgical operating rooms. In this individual contributor role you will be heavily involved in all phases of New Product Development as well as making sure that all electrical systems are in line with the companies quality systems and EMC safety standards. Work cross-functionally and lead (or participate in - E2) the design of motion control automation, digital and analog circuitry, embedded systems, PCB assemblies etc.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)5+ (3+ years for E2) years of experience working in electrical design in a heavily regulated environment - medical device preferred (ISO 13485, IEC 60601)Experience seeing products through full life-cycle development from concept design to commercialization is preferredExperience or knowledge in motion control automationExperience with FPGA and CPLD is preferred
