By offering the most accurate and timely ancillary services to detect emerging pathogens, foundationally based on science and medical leadership, we break down barriers to personal health management and allow people to live better.We are looking for a detail-oriented Laboratory Accessioner candidate who possesses strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to problem-solve and can function effectively as part of a team as well as being able to work independently. Duties include, but are not limited to:Perform laboratory specimen processing consisting of receiving, identifying, sorting, preparation, and internal laboratory distributing of blood and urine specimens.Verify accuracy of client and specimen details.Examine specimens for adequacy and appropriateness. Identify and resolve problems with specimen types, missing information, etc;Entry of laboratory-specific requests on time and in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.Ability to coordinate with client services to resolve any sample and client issues.Maintain a clean workspace and file HIPAA PHI according to the Document Storage SopFollow Strict safety procedures when handling toxic and biohazardous materials and specimens to avoid contamination.Qualifications:6 months+ data entry experience.Able to work independently and organize work to meet established deadlines.Able to handle biological materials.Able to sit and use the computer for an extended period.Able to perform a variety of duties (multi-task) with a high emphasis on teamwork, detail, and sense of-urgency.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Regular and predictable attendance.Benefits:· 401(k) Match· Health Benefits· Paid Time OffSchedule: Monday to FridayShift: 8-Hour schedule between the hours of 8 am to 8 pmJob Type: Full-Time
