CCT Technician

What You'll Do

The CCT technician is responsible for the repair of chassis, trailers, containers, and other intermodal equipment in their designated intermodal terminal, in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repair damage to chassis, trailers, and containers, including brakes, landing gear, and suspension.Safely assess, diagnose, repair, and handle tires on all types of intermodal equipment, including single and split rim applicationsMaintain accurate and detailed records of equipment’s current condition and maintenance historyMaintain designated parts and inventory listProvide concise written and photographic documentation to support the need for maintenanceCreate and maintain a safe and clean work environment

Required

What You'll Need

High school diploma or GEDValid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)Own basic hand toolsAbility to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with supervisors, members of management, vendors, and other employeesAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructions wellProficiency in Microsoft Office, mainframe systems, and terminal operating systemsComfort with climbing ladders and working up to 20 feet above ground

Preferred

Verifiable work experience (5 years) with an acceptable attendance recordMechanics with FMCSA and Brake Qualification forms (not required)
