Driver Experience Coordinator

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the Driver Experience Coordinator supports the intermodal trucking community by leveraging proprietary technology to perform intermodal gate transactions, maintenance, and repair at supported terminals and make timely operating decisions to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-oriented service.

Responsibilities

Service, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Automated Gating System (AGS) equipment and its componentsSurvey, repair, and troubleshoot overall system health and performanceProactively report on system specifications, operations, inventory needs, and site performanceExplain site health information and provide technical insight on system repairs to client managementAssist in testing new-generation AGS components and provide reliability and suitability reports to managementAssist with the install and commission of AGS equipment on siteAccurately and efficiently process automated and manual gate transactions as needed, entering data into an office computer or handheld device for each unit as it enters or exits the intermodal terminalManage inventoryMaintain a client work environment in REMPREX vehicles, Driver’s Assistance Building and server room.

What You’ll Need

Required

High School diploma or equivalentValid Driver’s License with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)Demonstrated attention to detailAn interest in and commitment to continual growthStrong interpersonal skills and a commitment to unwavering professionalismAbility to quickly analyze and solve problems in a high-pressure environment with the ability to implement procedural modifications with minimal supervisionWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Basic technical orientation with computers, printers and multi-line telephonic equipment. Mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of networking hardware and software.Ability to multi-task, demonstrate flexibility and persevere in an environment that with rapidly changing customer requests and requirements, seasonal variances in workload and industry

needs and requirements. Must be able to adapt to extended or adjusted hours as needed in a 24/7/365 operation.

Previous experience in the intermodal industry
