Air Export Coordinator Responsibilities:Responses and answers various questions from customers, including regulations, required information, invoices, quotas etc.Contacts the trucking companies to arrange pick-up cargos from customer’s warehouse or other locations to the company warehouse.Responsible for coordinating trucking schedule and making any adjustment as needed.Contacts airline companies to make booking for the cargo space.Obtains rates for ocean & air freight and trucking and rail.Negotiates with shipping lines and truckers to get a better rate.Prepares necessary export documentation such as bill of landing, packaging list, invoice and other required documents by the Customs, Airline companies and TSA.Makes sure that all paperwork is completed in compliance with customs regulations.Closes pouch and arranges transfer to airline.Tracks the shipments.E-mails necessary shipping information to the customers, Japan, and other parties after completing export documentation.Keeps the customers/ overseas office informed with the status of their shipments.Maintains and manages customer’s information in accordance with TSA regulations.Issues invoices and mails to the customers and overseas agents.Communicates with department manager and other staff to maintain effective workflow.Communicates with sales department and customer service department staff to answer customer’s requests and inquiries.Complies with all company policies and procedures.Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Air Export Coordinator Qualifications:2+ years’ prior experienceAssociate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.Experience with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Great attention to detail and accuracyKnowledge of PCs and applications.Strong analytical skills; inclination toward initiative.
