RemX is proud to partner with our Client in Bergen County, NJ to assist them in their search for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate is a “hands on” Accounting Professional who will manage all General Accounting functions for multiple corporate divisions with wholesale, retail and E-Commerce channels of business within the manufacturing and distribution industries.
Responsibilities
Manage all General Accounting functions and budgets for numerous corporate entitiesPerform corporate bank account reconciliations and submit to Executive ManagementManage cash flow; review and comprehend Corporate budget as well as forecasting Post and maintain Journal Entries and review financial statements, submitting analyses to Executive Management Manage recording of all corporate banking transactions and perform balance sheet reconciliations Perform month-end close process and all GL Accounting functionsPreparation of documents and assist external accountants with external and bank audits Process monthly sales commission calculations and submit to Department Managers
Requirements
BS or BA degree in Accounting from accredited four year university 5 + yrs General Accounting experience within a multi-entity corporate settingStrong proficiency with managing cash flow and full comprehension of budgets GL Accounting, Journal Entry, month-end close and balance sheet analysis skillsStrong analytical, problem solving and communication skills and deadline driven Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team High level of accuracy with attention to detail in fast paced environmentAbility to adapt to adjusting to multi-shifting priorities with consistent accuracy Strong organizational and intercompany transaction skills requiredPrior Accounting software implementation experience Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Dyn GP and/or additional ERP software programs
