ABOUT THE ROLE
The Food & Beverage Senior Cost Analyst will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing financial data related to Food and Beverage (F&B) for our restaurants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and a deep understanding of F&B cost management.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Analyze F&B, Banquets, and Catering cost structures to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts for F&BMonitor and report on actual vs. budgeted performance.Oversee inventory control processes, including tracking, reconciling, and reporting on F&B inventory levels.Implement strategies to reduce waste and optimize inventory turnover.Prepare regular cost reports for F&B providing detailed insights into cost trends, variances, and recommendations for improvement.Collaborate with culinary and sales teams to assess the profitability of menu items and catering packages.Investigate and report on variances between actual and expected costs, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.Evaluate vendor contracts, negotiate terms, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of products and services.Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal controls in F&B cost management.Assist in the month-end closing process, including reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and producing accurate financial statements.

Prior experience in hospitality/food industries requiredBachelor's Degree in finance/accounting or related field required2+ years of experience in cost analysis requiredStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience using Excel (entry to mid-level)
