Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Fleet Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair operations of our fleet vehicles across the designated region. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader with a strong background in fleet management within the waste and recycling industry.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the fleet.Manage and optimize fleet maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess fleet performance and identify areas for improvement.Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards pertaining to fleet maintenance and safety.Oversee the procurement of parts, equipment, and services, maintaining cost-effective inventory levels.Conduct regular inspections and audits of fleet assets to ensure adherence to maintenance protocols and safety guidelines.Prepare and analyze maintenance reports, budget forecasts, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:Minimum of 10 years of experience in fleet maintenance management, with a focus on heavy-duty vehicles.Proven track record of leadership and achievement in the waste and recycling industry.Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other relevant equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.Demonstrated proficiency in budget management, resource allocation, and vendor negotiations.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
