📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Title: Pedi Echo Tech Registered / Non Invasive Pediatric Echocardiogram Technician Registered Location: 333 N Santa Rosa St, San Antonio, TX 78207Duration: 3 months, possible extensionHours: 7:00am and 9:00am; 8 hour shift Mon-Fri
Notes: On call generally starts after first 30 days, depending upon ability to learn protocol. On call is one week (5 days). If on call is over the weekend, it starts Friday 5pm and ends Monday at 7am. Rotation frequency depends upon # staff (currently 5) so would occur approximately once every 5 weeks.
Job Details
MUST HAVE Pediatric Cardio ECHO TECH experience.Experience with Fetal highly preferred. Inpatient and outpatient experience with complex congenital cardiac anomalies.
- One of the following Certifications is required Certified Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Certified Registered Cardiac Sonographer from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).Certified Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).*Registered in Pediatrics Echo by ARDMS PE is Required *BLS is required
High School Graduate or equivalent is required.Graduation from an accredited school of ultrasound technology or a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science preferred.Ministry has COVID patients, this contractor must agree to care for COVID patients.
