This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.

DET BeveragesLocation: Nashville, TNShift: 1st Shift Full-time, Monday-Friday (Weekends Off)Local Deliveries – Home Every NightPrior touch freight experience highly desiredMust be 21 Year of AgeMust have Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (Less than 1 year of experience will be considered)Pay: Earn up to $85,000 during first year (Depending on experience and route)Benefits: Medical (default plan free to employees, spouse, and dependents), Dental and Vision (available first of the month following 30 days of employment), Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays (8 Total), and 401k with Company match (after 60 days of employment)Career advancement opportunities after 6 months of employmentTuition reimbursement available after 1 year of employment
Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To
Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicleUse Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truckManeuver vehicle and equipment in congested areas with limited space and potential obstaclesUnload and deliver products to our customer utilizing various methodologies that may include manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environmentsProvide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnelComplete delivery and pick up paperworkPick up returned product as requiredCollect company assets to include payments, carts, pallets, etc.Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicleComplete company training and certifications as requiredEffectively communicate and maintain contact with shift supervisor, dispatch, and/or co-workersOther projects or duties as assigned
Required Skills And Experience
Must be at least 21 years of ageMust possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Must have at least 1 year Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the militaryMust have and maintain an acceptable driving record in compliance with DOT requirementsMust be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basisMust be able to pass a post-offer background, DOT Physical and drug test
Preferred Skills And Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Customer service experienceExperience with a handheld ordering device and working in a multi-temperature environmentStocking, product handling, local delivery, or unloading experienceFoodservice distribution, grocery store, or beverage delivery experience
