The Quality Assurance Internship is a full-time paid position for a current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related programs. This internship will support our Corporate Quality group at Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling for approximately 12 weeks during Summer 2024. This position will be based in Milwaukee, WI but will include significant travel across our manufacturing facilities across the Midwest and West Coast. Interns will gain exposure to a variety of project-based work focused on improving corporate standardization and our plants' operational and financial performance. Ideal candidates will have an interest in pursuing a career in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing setting upon graduation, and must be available to start the internship at the end of May 2024.

Position Summary

The company’s Internship Program provides Interns the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and projects designed to provide exposure to the business and development of their leadership skills. This position collaborates with members of their designated team and builds relationships with customers, leaders, and peers within the company. The Intern will work in one of the following areas based on the specific available Internship opening: Sales, Sales Operations, Revenue Growth Management, Commercial, Supply Chain/Manufacturing, Field Operations, Distribution, Planning, Accounting, IT, Data Analytics, HR, Legal, Safety, etc.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To

Perform and accomplish tasks, activities and projects with guidance from Intern ManagerMeet and/or exceed project deliverables and deadlinesDevelop technical expertise as needed for functional areaDevelop business acumen by seizing opportunities to learn Apply functional academic knowledge and skills to the specific internship position with a professional approachServe as a Coca-Cola Brand Ambassador within the company and on campusOther projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills And Experience

High School Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degreeProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Power Point, Word) with the ability to efficiently learn new technologiesExcellent follow-up skills with the ability to complete assignments/projects on timeEffective verbal and written communication skillsOrganizational skillsDetail oriented Problem solver Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The Company will not sponsor applicants for work visasIf the internship requires driving, must have reliable automobile transportation, maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license, and maintain auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the company and state lawThis position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
