📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Rich Levels is a 7th generation family farm raising grain & poultry on the Delmarva Peninsula. We are committed to land stewardship and conservation in Maryland & Delaware.
Description:1) Operate a tractor-trailer for transporting grain, poultry litter and other farm supplies as needed.2) Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment and buildings.3) Work collaboratively with the farm management team to implement farm plans and strategies.4) Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.5) Work nights and weekends during busy seasons, which will fluctuate, but usually falls June 1st to July 1st, September 5th – October 31st.6) Dirty/dusty outdoor conditions with some occasional manual labor - sweeping, shoveling, lifting.
Requirements:1) Must have or obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) for driving tractor-trailers.2) Experience in grain farming or a related agricultural field is preferred.3) Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.4) Ability to work independently and as part of a team.5) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.6) Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during peak seasons.7) Clean drug-test.8) Benefits would only be for full-time employees
