Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a BSCE degree (preferred) and 5-10 years’ experience or the equivalent work experience of four (6) years in land development and/or public works. Registration as an Engineer-in-Training is required with registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred.
Completed Coursework In The Following Areas Desired
Transportation and highway engineeringHydrology and hydraulicsGeotechnical engineeringSurveying
Experience Must Include
Ability to take plans from conceptual design to final plansPreparation and processing of plans for commercial and/ residential land development projects, including roadway, utility, grading and drainage design.Knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards and procedures in the Tucson Area is preferred.
CAD/Civil3D Experience Is Required.
A good driving record is required.
