JOB DESCRIPTION-Catering Manager

Job Title:** Catering Manager

• *Overview:**

The Catering Manager at Oracle Park is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering solutions and special events at the venue. This position requires leading the catering team to ensure events and catering deliveries meet customer expectations and service standards.

Compensation:** The salary for this position ranges from $68,000 to $80,000, depending on qualifications, skills, and market factors.

• *Requirements:**

Minimum of 2 years of catering operations experience Previous experience in a management or supervisory role preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required Availability to work event-based hours Excellent communication skills Completion of Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lb. Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• *Responsibilities:**

Develop and execute catering solutions to meet customer needs Build and maintain effective client and customer relationships Ensure consistent quality in event planning and execution Coordinate delivery of prepared food and event setup based on banquet event orders Assist clients in planning special events and provide creative solutions Train and lead catering employees to ensure quality in final presentation Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to the team and ensure all requests are met before events Achieve food and labor targets Manage catering events of varying sizes and scopes, including staffing Ensure accurate reporting of all catering-related revenue, expenses, and receivables Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies

• *Additional Notes:**

Experience in overseeing meetings, weddings, social events, and corporate events Familiarity with catering for large-scale events such as commencements and ballpark buyouts Experience in catering for concerts, backstage, and VIP events Previous experience in sports, convention centers, large hotels, event centers, or casinos preferred Supervision of hourly staff, including supervisors, non-union employees, servers, and bartenders (total of 40) Knowledge of Catermate, ABI Staffing, and Yellow Dog for Inventory is a plus
