Corporate Associate Attorney
Our client, a full service business law firm specializing in commercial real estate, finance, corporate, criminal, family, and trademark-copyright law, is currently seeking a Corporate Associate in Charleston, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
3-5 years of corporate law experienceAbility to review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, including equity and asset purchase agreements, shareholder, partnership and operating agreements, loan agreements, license agreements, financing agreements, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements and restrictive covenant agreements.Research legal issues relating to a wide variety of business transactional issues and provide analysis within the client’s budget and time constraints.Assist in due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions.Provide advice to clients regarding contract terms and legal implications of business operations and transactions.
Required Education And Experience
J.D. degree from an accredited law schoolKnowledge of the laws and rules, as well as state and federal court procedures, forms, deadlines, filing requirements and portalsAbility to organize factual and legal data into clear and logical arguments.License to practice law in the state of South Carolina
What We Offer
