Responsibilities
We are seeking an associate with 4+ years of transactional experience with the ability to quickly integrate and support the firm’s Venture Capital & Emerging Companies practice. Responsibilities will include:
Drafting and negotiating venture capital investment agreements including NVCA formsLeading negotiations of key terms of all venture capital investment agreementsSupervising, training and mentoring associates in all aspects of venture capital financingAdvising emerging companies on typical matters that arise in their day-to-day operations, including board and stockholder communications and approvals and equity awards
Qualifications
Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law schoolMust be admitted or eligible for admission in MassachusettsA minimum of four years of venture capital and emerging company practice experienceKnowledge of Excel and capitalization tablesExcellent written and oral communication skillsProfessionalism in working and engaging with clients and colleaguesAbility to prioritize, meet deadlines and balance competing responsibilitiesAbility to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detailAbility to collaborate and work effectively in team settings

The salary range for this position is $310,000 to $365,000.
