📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Description
Looking for an Executive Chef to support major professional sports events! This role involves overseeing chef managers and hourly culinary staff, developing and implementing culinary solutions to meet customer needs, and managing stadium culinary operations. The Executive Chef will apply culinary techniques to food preparation and ensure high standards of production, presentation, and service.
Salary: $75-90K DOE
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE VERIFICATION
Multi unit culinary management experience Large catering event experience S+E or Large venue experience
Responsibilities
Ensure culinary production aligns with the Executional Framework. Establish and maintain culinary standards and techniques for food preparation. Manage a team of culinary staff to ensure quality food presentation. Train and supervise culinary and kitchen employees in best practice techniques. Provide coaching and create a shared understanding of goals and methods. Recognize and reward employees. Organize team meetings and daily huddles. Maintain staff records, including training and performance data. Develop client and guest relationships. Interact directly with guests. Stay informed about regional culinary trends. Meet food and labor targets. Focus on margin improvement and understand performance metrics. Ensure efficient execution and delivery of culinary products. Maintain food quality and safety standards. Comply with operational and safety standards. Understand and manage supply chain and procurement processes. Implement the Food Framework. Estimate food consumption and manage requisitions. Maintain equipment and ensure proper operation. Comply with food safety and quality assurance standards. Follow all applicable policies, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
Requires at least 4 years of culinary experience
At least 2 years in a management role preferred
Requires a culinary degree or equivalent experience
Ability to multi-task
Ability to simplify the agenda for the team
Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession.
This includes experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or problems.
Requires oral, reading, and written communication skills
