JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure all departmental operations are running effectively in the aspects of SQCDM. This position requires the ability to recognize, research, and develop improvement activities with a common goal of company success.

Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively (written and verbal), with all levels of the workforce from associate to senior management. Safety: Enforce all safety rules including forklift and robot cell entry safety procedure; ensure a safe working environment for all members and visitors Conduct safety training to ensure a safe work environment. Investigate all incidents/accidents and provide effective C/Ms. Quality: Audit quality at the process; check parts as they are being produced. Cost: Manage sort area; verify scrap totals; ensure only N/G and non-re-workable items are scrapped. Monitor tools and ensure they are properly used and stored. Delivery: Assist in all operations including forklift operations and inspection to ensure production schedule is being met on time. Manpower: Encourage associates during their jobs; assist with difficult tasks; provide good communication flow between associate and managers. Operate within TS16949 Standards Morale: Must be able to work in a team environment Reporting: Must be able to complete Accident Reports, Near Miss Reports, First Aide Logs, Quality, Downtime, Manpower, Attendance. Attendance: Must have regular attendance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or equivalency. Ability to make accurate fact-based decisions. Basic skills – ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Good communicator with internal and external contacts.
