Join our team as a Diesel Mechanic responsible for maintaining trailers, parts, and equipment while performing preventative maintenance. We're looking for a team player with strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to accurate record-keeping. Our goal is to uphold our customers' confidence in our high-quality trailer manufacturing.
Compensation: $30-$36/hour (based on tools, experience, and certifications)
Responsibilities:Maintain accurate recordsTest and repair defective parts, replacing or installing new onesProvide preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, etc.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems according to company standardsFollow safety regulations and company policiesPerform other related mechanical tasksSkills:3+ years of experience as a Diesel & Trailer MechanicStrong mechanical aptitudeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBasic electrical troubleshooting abilityBasic computer and tablet skillsCDL is a plus
