📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a full-time Mid-Level Interior Architect. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to exciting restaurant projects. If you have are hardworking, experienced, organized and able to manage projects in collaboration with senior designers, we encourage you to apply. QualificationsMUST be a US resident, fluent in English.Bachelor's degree in ARCHITECTURE or INTERIOR DESIGN is requiredMin. 6 yrs experience working for US based company, in construction document production for restaurant projects (internships do not count as experience)Must present samples of Commercial Construction Documents (preferably restaurants) that you have produced at least 80%.Strong attention to detail with good communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects concurrently and perform well under pressure to meet deadlinesProficiency in AutoCAD is a must with additional proficiency in Revit.Experience using SketchUp is helpful.Ability to work independently and proactivelyPossess a fundamental technical comprehension of interior component detailingWorking familiarity of common NYC building codes ResponsibilitiesConduct on-site measurements and documentation as necessaryQuickly gain an understanding of project objectives and establish clear timelines for producing comprehensive Construction Document setsExecute detailed plans, elevations, and all related construction details based on design direction from meetings with senior designersResearch and source essential components required for project executionPerform effective communication with related professionals including clients, expediters, and representativesImplement all relative building codes into projects as neededCollaborate with senior designers to troubleshoot and achieve design objectivesImmerse yourself in each project to gain a comprehensive understanding of its unique context
