The Manufacturing Operations Manager oversees plant operations, driving efficiency, safety, and productivity. This role is integral to maintaining high production standards within the manufacturing facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Direct and coordinate plant operations in alignment with company policies.Ensure smooth production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Manage safety programs and regulatory compliance.Monitor production goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).Oversee product specifications, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.Foster a motivated workforce through training and performance reviews.Conduct regular plant meetings and toolbox talks.Collaborate with departments to optimize coordination and efficiency.Attend corporate training and meetings to stay abreast of industry trends.
Supervisory Responsibilities:The Operations Manager leads a team of fabrication and assembly employees, providing guidance and support to achieve operational excellence.
Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree preferred.Lean Six Sigma certification; Green Belt level preferred.Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.Demonstrated ability to cultivate and develop teams.5-7 years of manufacturing experience, including supervisory roles.Knowledge of mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems preferred.
