About us
Riverhouse Waterfront is a well known, casual fine dining waterfront dining concept located on the mile-wide Manatee River, at Safe Harbor Regatta Pointe Marina in Palmetto.
Riverhouse Waterfront Restaurant is seeking an experienced KM or Executive Chef. Riverhouse is a waterfront, casual fine dining full service restaurant located on the Manatee River in Palmetto, Florida (minutes from Bradenton). Riverhouse features multiple dining experiences including inside and outside dining, dockside patio bar, upscale Second Floor dining, and multiple private rooms for events and banquets.
Our Core Values are Care, Hospitality, Excellence, and Family. Seeking managers who will extend Care and Hospitality to our customers and team members. Previous experience in restaurant management and/or hospitality management is a must.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage Back of House team membersSupervise various business activitiesEnsure hospitality to our customers and resolve any issuesCommunicated and Interact with team members, managers, and ownersTrain back of house team membersPerform opening and closing checklists, paperwork, systems and proceduresCreate and adjust staff schedules to meet restaurant needsWork with Back of House to ensure food quality, plate presentation, portion control, order accuracy, and timelinessAdhere to all safety and sanitation regulationsCreative menu developmentEvent and banquet menus and executionEnsure high food quality, cost efficiencies, and consistent plate presentation
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality and/or food serviceServe Safe Food Service Manager Certification (will assist in obtaining if don't already have)Strong leadership qualitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and communication skillsStrong attention to detailExperience with restaurant POS SystemsHonesty, dependability, and integrity is a must
