Director, Digital Strategy

With our headquarters located in Dallas, Texas, RKD Group is a remote-first company that has helped hundreds of nonprofits raise billions of dollars to fulfill their missions.The Director, Digital Strategy will be responsible for creating and directing the execution of innovative strategies that address our prospect client’s specific needs and goals. The Director should leverage their industry and channel expertise, along with knowledge from fellow channel strategists across the organization, to develop comprehensive strategies specific to a prospect client’s needs. They will develop the budget and revenue projections and participate in sales presentations. This role may also be the lead Digital Strategist on some clients. The Director, Digital Strategy will work alongside other Channel Strategists and Client Partners to lead digital discussions with the client, develop presentations, create strategic plans, write strategic briefs, develop digital program projections and report back on program health.The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to enterprise-wide efforts to improve strategic planning and client program results and share those macro-findings with clients or client groups, where applicable.RESPONSIBILITITES:Develop digital program plans and budgets in response to RFPs and RFIs.Present digital programs during pitch presentations that may be either virtual or in person. Traveling as needed is required for this role.Work across the Digital Strategy team to gather case studies for use in sales proposals. Draft campaign strategy briefs for clients that will be shared with clients and used by account managers and operations team members to execute campaigns.Provide digital program reporting and analysis and draft strategic recommendations from the analysis.Present digital strategies to clients and answer questions related to digital strategies.Ascertain and develop personal knowledge of various client technical platforms for appropriate use in execution of digital strategies.Participate on client teams that serve RKD’s nonprofit clients.Work closely with other department members serving the same client to facilitate projects through internal and client processes and ensure a strong client experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.Preferably 7+ years’ experience in an agency environment with digital direct response marketing to develop digital marketing strategies using email, landing pages, website experiences, texting, paid media, social media, and other digital channels.Experience with Google Analytics or other digital analytics services, email marketing, online fundraising platforms is preferred.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).LOCATION: Remote, some travel may be required.
