Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an ASME Design Engineer at RMB Products, Inc. The ASME Design Engineer will be responsible for design and support of manufacturing of corrosion protection products and any related tooling for the manufacturing process. Includes Drawings to be produced by CAD utilizing the principles of good mechanical design practice via Solidworks. The daily tasks may include conducting research, analyzing project requirements, developing design concepts, creating detailed drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
QualificationsDesign Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skillsProficiency in SolidWorks CAD softwareKnowledge of ASME BPVC, Section VIIIKnowledge of ASME calculation software, Compress preferredExperience in Product DesignGeneral knowledge of working materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, plasticStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsBachelor's degree in Engineering with 3-5 years’ experience in the related fieldExperience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
