Title: Offshore ParamedicLength-18-month contractStart Date: May 7thPay Rate: $425 a dayRotation: 28 days on 28 days offBenefits: W2 comes with dental, health and visionCrew Change; East Coast area (we will pay for flights, ect)Certifications need- OGUK Medical, BOSIET, Passport (as first rotation will have to go to Denmark to bring vessel to east coast in US), Paramedic license, ACLS and BLS. GWO training, we will pay for the GWO training (Global Wind Organization, however if you leave before 1 year you will billed up to $3,000 for this course).

SUMMARYThis position will be responsible for the management of emergent and non-emergency medical care atworksites as designated by the client or content of the scope of work (SOW). Examples of such worksitesmay include but are not limited to, drilling rigs, hazardous construction areas, areas of high workforcepopulation density, etc., The RHCP is responsible for provision of primary and emergency care to clientemployees, contractors, and sub-contractor personnel at the relevant worksite location or the defined areaof responsibility. In addition to providing routine medical services and responding to emergencies theRHCP performs safety checks and evaluations of necessary medical gear and equipment required toperform the job.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: To provide urgent and emergency care for all workers in the client worksite. To undertake accurate clinical assessment and examinations. To maintain up-to-date, accurate, individual medical records utilizing a computer based medicalrecord system. To report medical treatments in accordance with requirements of Client. Travel with patient (if necessary) to nearest approved Medical Facility. Ensure that critical medical supplies and equipment are pre-packed and available for emergencyuse at dispersed sites or during patient transport. Participate in simulation exercises organized by Client. To be fully conversant with Remote Healthcare Provider (RHCP) guidelines and Recordable CaseManagement (RCM) guidelines To be cognizant of the content and ethos of the RMI Field Operations Manual (FOM) To be fully aware of the field Medical Emergency Response Plan (MERP), Topside and GlobalCoordination Center (GCC) capability and use, along with knowing all procedures required formedevacs or other patient transfer processes out of the field To be fully cognizant of project disease prevention, control and management processes Appropriately refers to consultation of Topside Support for non-resolving patients or those requiringsecondary diagnostics In incidents of emergency illness or injury cases, stabilize, manage and monitor patient(s) untilaeromedical, vessel or ground transport evacuation takes place To be the point of contact on the ground managing such emergency cases, communicating directlywith the client Environment Health & Safety (EHS) or Operations personnel Report to client nominated line-manager or EHS Supervisor with regard to case categories(FAC/MTC/WR/NWR/LTI/RWC, etc.) Take appropriate action with regard to reportable diseases and communicable infection outbreak To ensure that the clinic is maintained at full readiness with appropriate medicines, equipment andconsumables as required by RHCP Guidelines or specific SOW/Work-task content Ensure clinic equipment receives daily, weekly or monthly maintenance and technical checks asindicated To carry out any Health and Hygiene control/management processes completed as directed To carry out any workforce first-aid training and emergency drill practices as directed by the siteEHS entities, as may be required by the SOW To manage site controlled substances (CS) supply To forward monthly record of such checks and control measures of CS as directed To manage patient data by the use of RMI Electronic Health Record (EHR) system To complete and forward any reporting requirements from the client representative as required bythe SOW To complete any timesheet requirements in a timely manner and forward accordingly To be professional in appearance and manner at all times To be the main point of contact for client EHS and site manager entities and communicationfrequently with such personnel To carry out any site medical inductions required and monitor workforce personal health status inaccordance with national, client or specific Fit to Work standards To carry out drug & alcohol screening of the workforce as required by the SOW To carry out any workforce immunization programs as directed or required by the SOW To encourage health promotion activities within the workforce To be compliant with any statutory or company required training objectives To be compliant with any client or SOW mandatory operational requirements Maintain current professional certifications, as designated for assigned projects Other duties as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum of two (2) years as an independent and fully qualified paramedic, nurse, advancedpractitioner or physiciano US National Registry Paramedic and/or US State Licensed/Certified Paramedico Locally licensed physician (MD/DO/MBBS/MBBA) without restrictionso US/UK/Canadian Advanced Practitioner including: APRN (NP, FNP, CRNA), PhysicianAssistant without restrictionso Locally licensed Registered Nurse (RN) without restriction- (naming conventions vary bycountry)o UK licensed Paramedico Canadian licensed Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP)o South African Licensed Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP)o Australian licensed Paramedico Other high level paramedic licenses reviewed as required Previous experience in remote medical support services preferred, but not required Experience working offshore preferred, but not required Experience working within the wind industry preferred but not requiredCOMPUTER SKILLS: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and general computer & technology literacy After receipt of training and assessment, the ability to effectively use RMI EHR systems
