📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client is a very stable, growing software company seeking an accounting manager. This is a great role for a high potential accounting manager hybrid accounting position.
Job Duties:Financial Oversight: Oversee and manage all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring effective collaboration and optimal performance.Audit Compliance: Ensure compliance with audit requirements and standards, leveraging your foundation in public accounting.Software Revenue Recognition: Implement and manage software revenue recognition processes in alignment with industry standards.Intercompany Transactions: Handle complex intercompany transactions, fostering accurate and efficient financial consolidation.Foreign Currency Management: Navigate and manage financial transactions involving foreign currencies, mitigating associated risks.In-Person Meetings: Attend periodic in-person meetings in Colorado to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
RequirementsCPA with a foundation in public accounting (ideally audit in a regional, national, or Big 4 firm)7 years of experience in accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a recent leadership position.Recent / current leadership skills in managing a team and guiding financial processes.Experience in the software industry and software revenue recognition. Foreign currency transactions, intercompany accounting, and strong month/year end close.NetSuite a huge plus
Location:Based in Colorado with the ability to attend periodic in-person meetings.
