📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Title: Cybersecurity Engineer Target Salary: $123,700 (little flex depending on geo location)Bonus: Yes - discretionary Address: Irvine, CA (remote but must be in CA or TX only)
Working hours time zone: local to time-zone (CST or EST preferred) PST hours may need to be 6am-3pm
Top Requirements (#of yrs): 5yr - 8yrIncident response experience MS Sentinel or any SIEM exp. Must have Pen-testing experienceWriting and implementing cyber security policy is hugeGDPR exp must have Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) ability to communicate with board level executives Azure is very important - tech guiding principles - they SAAS PAAS solutions. Heavily in Azure cloud. MS O365 W10 OS, custom development using azure resources
Pen testing - once year they have a contractual obligation - this person will be responsible for coordinating the testing w/ the 3rd party vendor. They will be working with a project manager from the vendor side to make sure testing is staying on track. The cybersecurity analyst will take the results and distill the information and we valid the info. They will translate security jargon into the changes they need to implement into the system.
