Desktop Support Technician
Robert Half is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in Pearl, Mississippi to assist a client with a contract to hire role. If you can communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format. Problem solvers who enjoy working in a challenging and positive environment may do well in this Desktop Support Technician position. This role is On-Site in Pearl, Mississippi.
Your Responsibilities
Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities Deliver computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures Support, examine, and repair computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Match hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Requirements
Experience Desired
Bachelors Degree in CS or a related field Desktop Support experience desiredWindows OS ExperienceAWS ExperienceUnderstanding of MS365 applications Deep understanding of Remote Support Tools Desktop Hardware experience requiredA+ certification Ability to write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
