📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
- *PAYROLL ANALYST** Our client is seeking a knowledgeable Payroll Analyst to join our North America Payroll Services team. As a crucial member of the team, you will be tasked with auditing and overseeing daily operations, identifying, and resolving discrepancies, and demonstrating extensive knowledge of the compensation and taxation laws across multiple states and provinces. This role demands an eye for detail, capacity to spot anomalies, ability to work against tight deadlines and manage high volumes of work. Duties include auditing the work of Coordinators, processing transactions, reconciling and remitting third party payments, calculating transactions impacting gross to net payroll, and assisting with year-end tax reporting. Additional tasks include verifying payroll data, resolving tax notices, implementing legislative changes related to payroll, supporting the payroll accounting team, and responding to escalated payroll inquiries. - * 4+ years of payroll processing, preferably high volume, with large selection of US/Canadian provinces** Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration** Strong knowledge of payroll processing, tax principles, wage & hours legislation** Payroll certification, highly desired ** Experience with large Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle** Experience with large ADP, Ceridian, UKG, Tricor** Experience with ADP GlobalView preferred
