📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
An International Law Firm is in their search for a fully remote Conflicts Attorney to join their team!
This position is fully remote, is Monday through Friday PST timezone, and a contract position.
Key Duties:Negotiate between firm lawyers in resolving disputes over conflicts and waiversResolves conflict of interest issues (to include obtaining necessary waivers and drafting ethics wall memos) related to the firm’s clearance of new clients, new matters and lateral attorneysAnalyzes information provided with new matter requests for compliance with firm policies and applicable rules of professional responsibility, and reviews and edits draft engagement letters for compliance with sameReviews client outside counsel guidelines and assists with assessment of firm’s ability to comply
Requirements:Applicants must have 1+ YOE handling conflicts checks with clientsActively licensed and in good standing in the same state you are residing inHigh attention to detail and organization skills
The salary range for this position is $40-55/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
