Remote Contracts and Compliance Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced Contracts and Compliance Manager with proficiency in redlining and negotiating government contracts. The candidate should have a comprehensive understanding and working know of FAR and DFAR regulations. The Contracts and Compliance Manager will act as a liaison between the business and Customers, Suppliers, Distributors, and Sales Representatives, ensuring the company's interests are represented and protected.

Contracts And Compliance Manager Responsibilities

Actively partner with the business to review all contracts related to Customers, Suppliers, Distributors, and Sales Representatives. Collaborate with business partners to review, draft and negotiate major account agreements, consulting agreements, special licensing, non-disclosure agreements, terms & conditions, and amendments for customer orders to minimize risk to the company. Ensure complete compliance with all contracts policies and procedures, interfacing as needed with the internal legal team and outside attorneys to resolve contracts issues. Regularly participate in company contract risk reviews and ensure compliance with all government regulations applicable to US government contracts. Represent the company in finalizing and negotiating terms and conditions of contracts with all relevant parties. Prepare contracts for internal review and approval, safeguarding compliance with company policies as well as laws or regulations. Accurately interpret contracts and advise business managers on contractual responsibilities, obligations, and potential penalties. Effectively translate complex commercial/legal scenarios into simple language and action plans for business. Implement and manage a secure contract tracking and archiving system ensuring traceability of all executed customer contracts and changes. Develop and present comprehensive and understandable contracts training to the customer business team.

Requirements

Proven experience in Contracts Management has a focus on redlining and negotiation of government contracts with government agencies. Working knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex contracts. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical ability and keen attention to detail. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. Bachelor's degree in business, law, or relevant field required.
