📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Robert Half's Full Time Engagement Professionals practice is looking to add additional resources to our accounting and finance loan staff group. This is a full-time position with Robert Half with fortune 500 benefits, performing project-based work for our clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys consulting work, learning new software, and gaining new experiences across a variety of industries. Although this is project-based work you will have the added benefit of having consistent compensation even between projects.
As a Senior Accountant within our practice your projects could vary greatly from LOA coverage, software implementations, reconciliation projects, providing support through a merger/acquisition, etc.
The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset. ResponsibilitiesEnsure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principlesWork closely with team members to assist with the month-end closeAssist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notesResearch and analyze expense variances for company management
Qualifications
3+ years' of professional accounting experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experienceAbility to work onsite, hybrid, or remote opportunities dependent on client needAbility to commute within 30 miles of home address
