Description
There is a Senior Accountant position open for candidates with an aptitude for adaptability. Interested candidates should apply as soon as possible, as this Senior Accountant role is immediate. This long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the Boca Raton, Florida area.
Your responsibilities
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations Other projects as required Ready monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Requirements
1+ years of overall general accounting experience ERP system experience Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills Great attention to detail Highly organized and self-motivated Self-starter and strong ethical standards Demonstrated knowledge of Adjusting Journal Entries Practical knowledge of journal entries Background working with Journal Entry Preparation General familiarity with General Journal Yardi Property Management experience Earlier work involving account reconciliation Adeptness in General Journal Good understanding of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation Microsoft Excel experience desired Command of Yardi Journal Entry experience highly preferred Property accounting experience Adjusting Journal Entries experience highly desired Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines A strong track record of communicating, both verbally and in writing, with functional department managers SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
