Description
This is a job where you will need to excel at explaining intricate technical information to the non-technical user. This Desktop Support Analyst role is permanent in nature and is located in the East Hartford, Connecticut, area.
How you will make an impact
Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters Fix computer problems, and recommend appropriate action/solutions Retain, investigate, and restore computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors Offer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities Give support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Requirements
2+ years of desktop support or other related experience Strong familiarity with Hardware Troubleshooting Knowledge of Basic Network Troubleshooting Proven knowledge of Active Directory Microsoft 365 Enterprise experience Comprehensive knowledge of Basic Network Troubleshooting Basic Troubleshooting experience Knowledgeable when it comes to writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
