Description
Systems Engineers should apply for this opportunity to join a team with a local client Robert Half is working with. You will be a key contributor to the maintenance and optimization of the client's network and wireless infrastructure in this Systems Engineer position. Apply as soon as possible! This long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the Lexington, Massachusetts area.
Your responsibilities
Consistently deliver the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability Formulate and affirm custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks Oversee and review application performance for potential bottlenecks, define possible solutions, and join forces with developers to realize those fixes Offer 2nd and 3rd level support Cooperate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution Partake in the design of information and operational support systems Manage redundancy strategies, security, and backup Test, configure, install, and maintain application software, system management tools, and operating systems Preside over and regulate all installed systems and infrastructure
Requirements
