They are currently on the lookout for an Operational Supply Planning Specialist to become part of their rapidly expanding team. This role presents a unique opportunity to operate within a collaborative environment, overseeing supply planning across a multitude of distribution channels and locations What you'll do:As an Operational Supply Planning Specialist, you will play an instrumental role in the success of our client's omnichannel business. You will be entrusted with managing supply planning across all distribution channels (Direct-to-Consumer, Amazon Marketplace, and Retail), supporting inventory purchasing decisions, coordinating special projects, and building/improving tools/processes/systems/KPIs. Your role will involve working closely with other internal functions to collect required inputs, manage timelines, and communicate potential operational/sales impacts of key actions/decisions. You will also work proactively with internal/external stakeholders to identify and resolve potential supply/demand issues before they occur.Plan inventory requirements across all distribution channels and locationsMaintain accurate supply planning files by SKU across multiple sales forecast scenariosDetermine future capacity needs across production and fulfilment locations to meet forecasted demandAnalyse forecast vs actual performance and incorporate deviations into future planning decisions and processesWork collaboratively with external suppliers to build strong accountable relationships and build planning processes togetherManage and improve processes, tools, documentation, and S&OP processesWhat you bring:The ideal Operational Supply Planning Specialist will bring a wealth of experience in supply chain management, specifically in supply/demand planning and demand forecasting. You will have worked within Consumer Packaged Goods companies that operate across Direct-to-Consumer, Amazon Marketplace, and retail sales channels. A background in startup/e-commerce/supplements would be advantageous but not essential. You should possess exceptional Excel skills along with a meticulous approach to error checking. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems would be beneficial.Bachelor's Degree7+ years in Supply Chain Management, Supply/Demand planning, Demand ForecastingExperience in Consumer Packaged Goods companies with Direct-to-Consumer, Amazon Marketplace, and Retail sales channelsStartup/e-commerce/supplements experience or passion is a plusExperience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems a plusExceptional excel skills and zero defect/error checking approach
