The Crypto Data Science team's mission is to enable data driven product development and business strategy to maximize impact. The Crypto team is a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative team. As a member of this cross-functional group, you will collaborate closely with partners in product, engineering, user research, design, marketing, finance and compliance to unlock the potential of our data and shape the future of the Crypto Products.

As a senior product data scientist, you will play a critical role in optimizing and enhancing the product’s performance by harnessing data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and innovations.

What You’ll Do

Initiate and execute large analysis projects to deepen understanding of customers, uncover product improvement opportunities, provide actionable recommendations, and drive impact for our businessDesign, plan, execute and analyze experiments to evaluate the impact of product changesDefine metrics system to measure product performanceCreate data visualizations and reports, synthesize data insights to compelling stories, to effectively communicate them to cross-function partners, stakeholders, and senior executivesIteratively improve the metrics and the dashboard systemDesign, develop and maintain data pipelines with outstanding craftsmanshipMentor others as needed to uplift the team’s capacity, and to democratize data knowledge and data insights within the companyLeverage expertise in data science and passion for product development to shape the product and business strategy for Crypto at RobinhoodWork with Senior executives and Product leaders and drive meaningful discussions keeping in center data driven insights

What You Bring

Graduate degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering, computer science, etc5+ years of demonstrated experience working in product analytics or data scienceTrack record of initiating, and executing large / complex deep dive projectsTrack record of developing data insights that generates business impactExpert level SQL, Python skillsExcellent data visualization skills and data storytelling skillsExperience in product data science in a dynamic, innovative, and fast-paced high tech environmentSolid understanding of statisticsPractical experience in AB testing and causal inferenceStrong understanding of ML algorithms

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

$161,500—$190,000 USD

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)

$141,950—$167,000 USD

Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL)

$125,800—$148,000 USD
