📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
JOB OVERVIEWWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the construction process by providing accurate cost estimates for projects. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure that projects are completed within budget and meet all specifications.
DUTIESConduct detailed analysis of project plans and specificationsPrepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipmentCollaborate with project managers to develop project budgetsReview and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliersMonitor project costs and provide ongoing cost controlCommunicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team membersStay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in construction costs
EXPERIENCETo be successful in this role, you should have:Proven experience in roof estimating and project managementStrong negotiation skills to secure favorable contractsProficiency in using estimating software such as stackedKnowledge of construction management principles and practicesAbility to accurately price materials, labor, and equipmentStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
