📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

Rockcrest is seeking a talented Power BI Visual Creator who is passionate about transforming complex data into visually appealing insights. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating dynamic dashboards tailored for executive-level decision-makers. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in data manipulation, visualization, and a strong understanding of business requirements.*EXAMPLES OF PREVIOUS WORK MUST BE INCLUDED WITH RESUME SUBMISSION*The hours will be 30-40 per week, with the project being on-going.
Key Responsibilities:Develop visually stunning dashboards for executive C Suite utilizing Power BI.Extract, transform, and load data from various sources including ERP, Financial, Accounting, Sales, Order Management, and Budgeting systems.Write basic SQL statements for data extraction and manipulation purposes.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.Identify opportunities for enhancing dashboard functionality and user experience.Utilize front-end dashboard creation skills with a strong understanding of backend processes.Extract information from warehouse data and visually represent budgeted versus actual spend, trends, and other relevant metrics.
Requirements:Examples of previous work must be included with resume submissionBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, with a focus on dashboard creation and data visualization.Proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
