BookkeeperOn-Site - Ontario, CA Rose, Snyder & Jacobs LLP is conducting an exclusive search on behalf of our family-owned manufacturing client, seeking a Bookkeeper with 5-10+ years of experience. This position is based on-site, in our client’s Ontario, CA office.

You have proven skills in accounts payable and receivable, understanding of general accounting and bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Your organizational skills are solid, so you know how to meet a deadline with ease. You are a team-player with excellent judgment and strong verbal and written communication skills. Overall, you are confident with your work and can take charge when needed and work with minimal supervision.
Essential Job FunctionsManage accounts payable and receivable mattersHandle company’s payroll (including work on payroll taxes)Support accounting team on matters involving sales tax returns and unsecured property taxPrepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsAssist with bank reconciliationsEnsure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulationsProcess customer billing
Requirements/Skills5-10+ years of experience as a bookkeeperAccounts payable and receivable experienceBank reconciliation experience is perferrredFinancial statement preparation experience is preferredSales tax return and unsecured property tax experience, is helpfulKnowledge of general accounting principles and practicesAdvanced Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Word skillsExcellent analytical skills Ability to work independently and collaborativelyStrong attention to detail and accuracyExperience with cost accounting and inventory valuation is preferredCustomer billing experience is preferred
Where You’ll Work/HoursYou will work on-site, in our Ontario, California corporate headquarters.Our hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday.There will be some overtime required at year-end.
