Field Service Manager

Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Environmental Field Services Manager to oversee and coordinate field operations related to environmental assessment, remediation, and monitoring projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the operation and maintenance of Geoprobe drilling equipment, specifically the Geoprobe 6011, 54LT, and 420M models. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and environmental compliance.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of field technicians and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of environmental projects.Plan and schedule field activities, including drilling operations, soil and groundwater sampling, well installation, and remediation activities.Conduct site assessments and surveys to determine project scope, site conditions, and potential environmental risks.Operate and maintain Geoprobe drilling equipment, including the Geoprobe 6011, 54LT, and 420M models, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance.Oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to health, safety, and environmental protection.Provide technical guidance and training to field staff on drilling techniques, sampling procedures, and equipment operation.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to address project objectives, challenges, and deliverables.Qualifications:Experience in environmental consulting or field services, with a focus on site investigation and remediation projects.Proven experience operating and maintaining Geoprobe drilling equipment, including the Geoprobe 6011DT, 54LT, and 420M models.Strong understanding of environmental regulations, including but not limited to RCRA, CERCLA, and state-specific requirements.Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of field personnel.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, regulators, and team members.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.SST supervisor card is preferred.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and paid time off.Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company.A collaborative and dynamic work environment committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
