We are looking to hire a Resource Manager to support our Tax practice.
The Resource Manager is expected to make independent decisions on staffing issues ensuring that engagements are scheduled appropriately with the alignment of resources based on a variety of factors including experience, industry and technical expertise and geography, resources are effectively deployed and staff workloads are balanced. The Resource Manager is responsible for analyzing scheduling reports, resolving scheduling conflicts and partnering with leadership on resource availability and overall staff utilization and engagement management. The Resource Manager is a key contributor to the practice’s financial performance by effectively aligning resources to clients’ needs with main focus on operational efficiency and financial metrics and additional focus on talent development, growth and satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelors or Associates Degree – Preferred or 8+ years of relevant scheduling experience RequiredResource Management or Project Management Certifications - Preferred
Technical/Soft Skills
Strong Microsoft office skills, specifically with Excel – RequiredAbility to prepare presentations including charts, graphics and tables – PreferredStrong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate both verbally and written with diverse audiences at all levels of the organization. - RequiredStrong analytical, forecasting, problem solving and client service skills – RequiredDemonstrated ability to identify complex patterns of risk, challenges and resolves issues, makes effective recommendation on course of action, and understands when to escalate complex issues – RequiredEffective organization and time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks required – RequiredStrong attention to detail – RequiredAbility to respond positively to changing circumstances, seek and implement change to drive business improvement; serve as a change agent – RequiredOperates with a sense of urgency - Required
Experience
5 -8 years of relevant scheduling/resource management experience or LOB/Solution Set experience – RequiredPrevious experience in LOB or Solution Set supporting - Preferred

Ability to facilitate collaborative discussions regarding resource assignment, utilization and gap analysis between resource managers and leadership.Ability to drive collaboration and communication between teams.Ability to impact and influence to attain appropriate resolutions and results.Takes initiative and ownership, can exercise independent judgment and collaborate across lines of business, regions and internal functions to meet or exceed expectations.Strong relationship building, coaching and employee development skills.Process driven and ability to help train/drive/develop these processes to create unity and consistency across all offices within line of business and/or solution set.

Compensation Range: $87,800 - $162,200
