Job Title: Business Data Analyst
Location: San Diego CA
Duration : 3 month_ + extension
Pay : $30- $45 /hr on w2 based on experience

Responsibilities
Analyze, adjust, and restructure various aspects of the business to ensure optimal output efficiency.Collaborate with individuals at all levels of employment to identify inefficiencies and streamline processes.Interact with employees professionally, providing constructive criticism to facilitate the restructuring of current systems.Identify and address current and future business needs, advising on resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability.Determine solutions to business software/hardware system problems.Translate business needs into information technology system requirements.Create and maintain an accurate and accessible data dictionary for finance tables and columns.Establish relationships across finance to provide technical and business understanding for the finance data dictionary.Communicate and deliver complex technical information clearly to a non-technical audience.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business requirements are met.Continuously evaluate the data dictionary to ensure it is up-to-date, accessible, and accurate.Provide assistance and support to business analysts and GenAI in interpreting the data dictionary.
Skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Expertise in Gsuite tools, including gsheet, qword, and gslides.Strong proficiency in SQL, with preference given to Databricks.Ability to provide critical descriptions for business analysts and GenAI to read and provide accurate answers.Solid understanding of finance-related data and terms.Familiarity with QuickSight, Qliksense, and Python would be a plus.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as finance, accounting, economics, or computer science.
