📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Join our dynamic team as an Associate within the Bus Ops-GAAPS-Global Alt Ops-Alt Fund Controllers department. As an integral part of our Operations team, you will ensure a best-in-class control environment internally and externally with our 3rd party administrators. You'll collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders, supporting product launches, liquidations, and maintaining robust oversight of our alternative investment fund products. This role involves reviewing NAVs, facilitating cash management decisions, and managing communication with investors. Additionally, you'll be engaged in custom reporting, project management, and supporting marketing and product launches.
Responsibilities:Ensure best-in-class control environment internally and externally.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support product launches and liquidations.Review NAVs of alternative investment fund products.Facilitate cash management decisions for portfolio management teams.Manage communication with investors, including resolving inquiries.Create custom reports and address investor-specific needs.Participate in group projects related to new product accounting and technology enhancements.Support marketing and product launch activities.
Skills and Experience:3 to 7+ years of relevant experience in investment/fund accounting or public accounting (audit), preferably supporting closed-end alternative investment funds. Private Equity experience is a plus.Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting; CPA certification is a plus.Strong communication skills (written and verbal).Proficiency in US GAAP and financial statement presentation for investment companies.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Excel. Experience with VBA is a plus.Ability to work independently and deliver results as a self-starter.
