Role: Network SME

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Contract: 12 months – with strong possibility of long-term extension

Client: Financial Services

Pay-range: $75-95/hour (Depending on experience)

3 days onsite - including the weekend shifts

2-3 interview rounds

Long term contract

Prefer local candidate - candidate needs to be onsite from day one - no exception

Looking for a Networks SME to join their team in Alpharetta, GA. The broad knowledge of all major topics is critical. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience preferably with a Financial Services Firm, Technology vendor or systems integrator designing, and implementing large scale networks.

Ability to work both independently and as a team member is essential. Strong presentation skills are imperative to be able explain network design, articulate risk, and facilitate decision making.

Strong security focus and experience with Network Security Concepts and Multi-tier Security architectures. Able to lead the segregation efforts between production and non-production networks. In this role, a person will be responsible for understanding the design standards, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure to ensure a secure and efficient separation between prod and non-prod environments.

Skills Desired

Ability to use Microsoft applications such as Visio, Word, Excel and OutlookProficient in UNIX or LinuxCertifications: CCIE or equivalent along with CISSP highly desirableExperience with scripting / automation using Python / Ansible is a strong plus.
