📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
What are we looking for in our Senior Technical Analyst?
Job Title: Senior Technical Analyst
Location: Mountain View, CA or San Diego, CA (Hybrid)
Contract: 18 months
Pay-rate: $60-$69/Hr on W2 (Depending on experience)
Document all data processes and create a roadmap that supports the business strategy.Own and manage database and data architecture.Create and own data pipelines for ongoing reporting deliverables.Partner closely with central data engineering, gather data needs from internal customers like analysts and researchers, and translate those requirements into a working database and analytic tools.Partner with central data teams to establish and optimize data pipelines using internal technologies and best practices.Be the go-to person for anything and everything regarding understanding the data, sources, and origins, ETLs, etc.Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills, time management, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines.
Skills
Extensive experience dealing directly with internal customers regarding their data needs.Excellent experience writing scripts with languages like Python and shell scripts in a Linux environment.Excellent experience using and managing GitHub.Excellent knowledge of SQL, large scale data warehouse.Excellent knowledge of database / dimensional modeling / data integration tools.Excellent understanding of statistics and experiment design.Experience working with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and data tools in AWS.Experience with programming languages to develop custom applications such as JavaScript and/or Java is a plus. Experience with Survey/Brand Tracker data is a plus.Experience with Clickstream data is a plus.Experience with Tableau/Qlik Sense is a plus.Can-do attitude, hands-on approach, passionate about data.
