Job Title: Server and Storage Manufacturing Test Engineer
Location: Cupertino, CA
Duration: 12 Months (with possible extension)
Payrate: $55/hr. to $62/hr.
Key Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in factory test and diagnostics development.In-depth knowledge of motherboard architecture and related subsystems.Proficiency in Linux systems engineering, including RHEL/Ubuntu.Strong programming skills in Unix Shell (Bash) and Python.Experience with stress testing utilities and networking protocols.Familiarity with SMBIOS, DMI, Ipmitool, UEFI shell, and BIOS settings.Ability to troubleshoot test hardware effectively.
Responsibilities
Assist in creating, auditing, and approving Functional Test Plans and Burn-in stress testing sequences.Validate firmware updates in the lab and deliver them to the production floor.Contribute to designing and improving production line layout and assembly stations.Manage production from prototype through EVT, DVT, PVT, Ramp, and MP phases.Problem-solve F/A reports and enhance diagnostics to maintain a >98% yield rate.Monitor and enforce test equipment calibration, ESD compliance, and maintenance of consumable commodities.Co-develop manufacturing instructions detailing assembly and test processes.Requires travel to factories in Asia and North America (~25% of the time).
