Transportation Analyst

Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Transportation Analyst to provide administrative support to our client's Inbound Transportation group in Tempe, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in the ecommerce industry. This is a 4-month contract that is TEMP TO HIRE for successful contractors!

Job Title: Transportation Analyst - Administrative SupportPay: $22.00-$23.63/hour (based upon experience)Duration: 4-Months (Contract to Hire Opportunity)Schedule: Monday – Friday // 40hrs/week (8:30a-5:00p)Location: HYBRID - TEMPE, AZ (Mon/Tues/Fri - WFH | Wed/Thurs - IN OFFICERole may transition to fully onsite if converted to full-time

RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide administrative assistance to the Inbound Transportation group including managing scheduled pickups, re-routing hauls, resolving issues, data analysis, and interacting with several vendors. (Hauls = 18 wheelers with freight)Will be assigned to approximately 50 vendors and use Excel to track vendor activity.Reach out to vendors to learn issues and resolve.Analyze vendor and shipment data in Excel.Problem-solving with shipment (i.e. why shipment wasn't picked up).Direct impact of up to 1000 shipments/week

QUALIFICATIONS:4+ years of related industry work experienceProficient in Excel and Microsoft OfficeAble to analyze and interpret dataProblem-solving attitudeAble to work with multiple systems and screens (multiple tabs + systems at once)

EDUCATION:Associate degree required
