Job Overview
The Oncology pharmacist is responsible for the safe compounding, preparing and dispensing of chemotherapy in addition to ensuring all medication management standards are adhered to.
Qualifications
Required
Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD DegreeMinimum two years dedicated oncology experience required including chemotherapy preparation and strong familiarity of NCCN guidelinesFamiliarity with all phases of Hospital and Ambulatory Care PharmacyWorking knowledge of public health matters. Familiarity with Federal and State laws regulating professional and hospital practice of Pharmacy. Must be computer literate with working knowledge of reporting tools in addition to proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Effective oral and written communication skills are a must.
Preferred
Board Certification in Oncology (BCOP) preferred, Candidates who do not hold a Board Certification in Oncology will be required to obtain Board Certification within three years of hire into this position

Registration in New Jersey as a Pharmacist, New Jersey licensure required

Pay Range
$58.39 to $ 67.08 Hourly Rate
